Brij C2

Brij C2 is a non-ionic ethoxylated alcohol based on cetyl alcohol. This low HLB surfactant is suitable for water in oil emulsification or as a co-emulsifier in blended surfactant systems. As an ethoxylated alcohol, Brij C2 is classed as an ether, the presence of the ether linkage significantly improves its resistance to hydrolysis.
